Forget Me Not Vol 1: Chapter 3

 Chapter 3

"Hebaaa!!!! Turn off the alarm!", whined Mariam. "What?!!! Where…", exclaimed I while getting back to sleep. "Hebaaa!!!! Please!", yelled Toka while throwing me with a pillow. "I'm awake!!!", shouted I suddenly while freaking them out. "What time is it?", asked Sarah sleepingly. "12:00pm, I guess…", told her while yawning halfway. "Heba, when would be our flight?", wondered Salma. "6:00 am, as far as I can recall…", guessed I while getting off bed to check our flight tickets. "We didn't pack our bags!!!", stated Menna shockingly. "Relax… We still have enough time.", chilled Noureen. "But not that much guys, we still have alot of packing to do…", noted Nada. "She is right, ladies… We're late as usual and it's already 12:00pm, time is an illusion!", hurried up I.

"Breakfast is served!!!", announced I from downstairs. "Really? What are we having for today?", wondered Mariam curiously. "Dates Agwat El Madinah, youghurt of all desired flavors, nuts of all kinds and fruits mushy, crunchy and whatever forms they come in…", Menna listed. "I'm hungry now, that sounds so nutritious…", contemplated Toka. "Do we have coffee?", checked Menna. "Yes, we do check for the pantry. Could you please make me some?", requested Noureen. "Sure, my dear with Allah's will!", gladly agreed Menna while turning on the coffee machine. "Do we have some orange juice?", asked Nada anxiously. "Yes, we do! Here you go, Nada!", said Salma while handing Nada the juice box from the fridge and taking out the milk to have some oats with dried fruits and nuts. I'm blessed to have such an amazing family!

"It's packing time!!!", encouraged I. "Do we really have to do it?", asked Mariam lazily. "I don't know Mariam, what do you think?", mocked Menna. "Open your bags, ladies!", shouted Toka enthusiastically. "What should we put first?", wondered Noureen. "Large volume stuff first, I guess?", suggested Sarah. "No liquids in hand bags, right?", checked Nada. "Liquids for large bags, only! You have to make sure they're sealed tightly…", advised Salma. "See… Easy!", comforted I. Just kidding it's evening and nothing close to easy. God my back hurts!

"Who's hungry?", invited I. "Dying… Feed Me!!! Something!!! Anything!!!", struggled Mariam. "Pizza!!! Wohooo!!! I love Pizza!!! But when would be the time we can eat at MAC, I want a big tasty!!!", whined Toka. "And dip the fries in a chocolate ice cream…", dreamed Salma. "That's disgusting!!!!", said Menna while holding her vomit. "Totally… I can't seem to find any connection between the two, why on earth would you do such a thing!", exclaimed Sarah. "I want cook door…", wished Nada. "Nada… They closed it a long time ago!", reminded Noureen while sinking in the chair from hunger. "Let's dig in!", encouraged I while opening up the pizza and taking a deep smell of it sinking into my heart while sinking in the chair as well. Never liked packing anyway, they should hire someone to do such a thing for INFJs! Not funny at all…

"Guys… Can we talk? There's something I should be telling you all…", gathered I. "You're scaring me…", Mariam was concerned. "Are you okay, my dear? You seem so pale…", Menna hugged me. "I knew there was something behind that move!", confirmed Toka. "You seem lost Heba…", approached Noureen. "Sit down my dear, it feels like you are about to faint…", Salma sitted me down. "Should I bring you some dates?", checked Nada. "It's okay… I have my water, you know how I get hypotensive sometimes…", sipped I some water while picking up whatever is left of courage to open up. "I found a letter, from my mom. While I was going through her stuff… It was peculiar because what the letter said was a song that I came up with which I haven't told anyone about. It says: And the heart is aching… And the soul is longing… For a place called home… For a place called home… ", sang I." That why Norway…It's your home!", concluded Mariam.

" You miss her, don't you?", asked Menna tearfully." How can you miss someone whom you have never got the chance to know? ", sadly replied I." Is it possible that she is there, after all this time? ", wondered Toka." Maybe… There's only one way to find out! We have to go there… ", concluded Mariam. "What's her name Heba?", asked Noureen. "I believe it's Aurora…", Sarah checked the letter for me. "What would you do if you find her?", asked Nada. "I would ask her why did she leave…", cried I while the rest were either group crying or hugging. I pray that I find you, mom. I wonder how it feels to hug you as tight as possible. "Guys, I think we should all go to sleep… We would miss the plane if we stayed up late more than that!", warned Salma. She is right, why the sadness anyway? All what she left was a letter…

"And the heart is aching… And the soul is longing… For a place called home… For a place called home…", she sang. "Mom?", doubted I. "There you are, my dear…", greeted she. "Why did you leave me, mom?", asked I tearfully. "I didn't my dear, I guided you…", answered she. "Where?", questioned I. "Home…", replied she calmly. "But I'm already home, amn't I?", asked I. "Your soul, my dear. It's calling…", clarified she. "You dress so beautifully, but why can't I see your face?", pleaded I. "I can only show you my soul… It has the colors of the Aurora, just like you my dear. Like mother, like daughter…", kissed she. "Can I find you there?", prayed I. "For that question, you have to find its answer by yourself my dear…", faded she. "Mom… Mom...Mom!!!!!",yelled I waking everyone up at the same time the alarm was on. It's 4:00am, it's time!

"You dreamt of her, didn't you?", asked Mariam while resting her hands on me for affirmation. "Yes…", holding my tears I confirmed. "Come on! We're gonna be late!!!", Toka hurried us out. "Where is my outfit?", yelled Menna while throughout the room for it. "Found them!", announced Noureen gladly. "Is there time for breakfast, I'm starving?", begged Nada. "We can have loacker and cookies on our way… Maybe some oreos as well! Pick whatever we might need from snacks on our way. Load them in our back-packs and cross bodies, cause ladies we're gonna need every ounce of them!", warned Salma while peaking from the side of the door, closing everything out and getting our über ride." Roger that, Captain!", confirmed Sarah while giggling with the rest of us.

" Come on, ladies! Our Über ride is here!!! ", shouted I." Okay… I'm coming!", said Mariam agitatedly. "Watch your tone, lady!", scolded Menna. "You know that I'm older than you, right?", reminded Mariam. "Hope in smarty pants…", pushed Sarah while getting inside after her. "Did we get any cold drinks? I'm parched…", pleaded Toka. "At the airport, we're gonna miss it! Here, have some water and stay hydrated…", said Salma while handing her out a bottle of water. "I need my power bank!", forgot Noureen. "Got it...Get in! Get in!! Get in!!!", hurried Nada while closing the door behind. I signaled to the ÜBER driver after counting us all down, we can't afford a home alone to take place…

"How much is it?", asked Toka firmly, as if the charge was gonna ever change. "100 Euros, lady…", charged the driver. "Here you go, sir. Thank you for not talking through the whole ride!", thanked I gratefully . "Anytime!", gladly replied the driver. "Mariam… Help me with the bags!", asked Menna. "Why me?!!!", whined Mariam. "Mariam help her out or we would leave your bags behind. I'm warning you!", threatened Noureen. "Nada, check if we're missing something!", requested Sarah. "All clear!!!", calmed Nada. "Have a nice day, sir!", wished I. "You, too!", wished the Über driver back. God, it's freezing from now on!!! We have to get in…

"What time is it?", checked I. "5:30 am… We're late! AGAIN!!!", shouted Mariam. "Run for the plane!", ran Menna. "Show him the tickets and ask him which way to go!", hurried Toka. "To the left… To the left!!!", yelled Nada. "Then what?", shouted Salma. "Straight forward!!! Give him the tickets!!!!", shouted Sarah excitedly. "Hold on, ladies. Did you check the weight?", asked the man. "Yes!!!", shouting out all at once. I would never forget that, EVER!!! We were out of our breathe, barely breathing and dragging our bags with us at full speed whilst placing the other bags in the bag shifter to be put on the back of the plane. Honestly, I wouldn't find it weird if someone posted it on Facebook or Instagram…

"Next to the window!", booked I. "Back-OFF!!! The window is MINE!!!", Mariam fought back. "But I got here first!", objected Salma. "No kidding… Stand in the line!", demanded Nada. "I need it to focus on my PhD…", justified Sarah. "Nice one darling, but I ain't buying it! I need new gorgeous photos for my social media…", clarified Noureen. "Graphic illustrators, first!!!", stepped in Menna. "Step aside ladies, cause this seat is mine!", intruded a man. "I beg your pardon… Who do you think yourself are?!!!", exclaimed I while giving him this face which I shall not mention its name. "Ummm… The man who booked the seat!", defended him. "Give me the stupid tickets!", demanded Mariam. "Sorry sir, our bad… Heba, where are in the row behind! You can take the seat, it's all yours!!!", gave up Toka. "Where are you going? I ain't sitting behind that man!!! Where is your back up, ladies?", scolded I. "Don't look at me! You did this, I ain't paying for it!!!", Menna backed off. Perfect, now all I could think of would be the ways that MAN getting his payback! May my soul rest in peace, I'm screwed…

"This is where things get scary!", shouted I. "Getting off, I love it!", said Mariam Joyfully. "I hate it!!!", yelled Nada while closing her eyes. "So do I!!!", agreed Sarah. "I'm gonna throw up!!!!", said Menna dizzily. "Give her the bag or she would throw up on me, quick! An outfit on the line HERE!!!", urged Noureen panickingly. "Too late…", apologized Menna whilst throwing up on Noureen in an attempt to reach out for the bag. "Thank you, truly!", Noureen moaned while whipping off the vomit. "You're welcome, friend…", replied Menna in relief. "Seriously, I'm sitting with children!", criticized the man. "Seriously, no one asked for your opinion!!!", replied I furiously. "Well, the vomit did!", replied the man back. "Stuff it with a napkin, will ya?!!", fought I back agitatedly . "How am I supposed to breath?!!!", objected he. "From your mouth, dumdum!!!", I made a point. "Another word from him and I'm done!", whispered Mariam angrily. "Believe me when I say the same…", confirmed I. "I have a name you know…", intruded he. "Let me guess, SpongeBob smarty pants!", wickedly replied I. "No… A better one, Hady!", smirked he. "Let me see if anyone cares… Oh! Look no one…", smirked back while rolling my eyes. "I believe you're Heba…", intruded he again. "Are you always this stupid or are you just doing this to annoy me?!!!", condemned I. "Only with you…", replied Hady while returning to his seat properly sitting. "I'm gonna kill him!", stood Mariam up. "Not before me, not before…", replied I while calming both of us down before we get kicked off the plane.

"Breakfast?", asked the flight attendant. "YES PLEASE!!!", replied I in my sleep whilst internally drooling. "What are we having for breakfast?", Toka inquired. "Something delicious…", replied the flight attendant friendly. "I think what she means is that's our breakfast, but I don't know if you would like it or not…", guessed Mariam followed by her beautiful laugh that never fails to catch my attention so I laughed as well. I mean who could resist! "Heba… Do we still have our snacks?", asked Nada. "Ugh… They really suck at cooking!", complained Salma. "What kind of food is that?!!! You know my mom cooks better than that…", expressed Sarah freely. "Come on guys… We have to eat something!", encouraged Menna. "May be have some orange or apple juice and some of that Omelette that ONLY Allah knows how it tastes…", suggested Noureen sarcastically that we all couldn't help ourselves but laugh. "You're right...it does suck!", agreed Hady. "I can't take this anymore!", complained I agitatedly to Mariam making sure that it's as low as possible so he wouldn't hear me out, but again he NEVER fails to do so. May Allah help because it's gonna be a LONG flight!
