Forget Me Not Vol 1: Chapter 2

 Chapter 2

"You're kidding, right?", doubted Mariam. "Honey, look at those eight plane tickets!!! Aren't they beautiful?", admired I. "You mean like THE AURORA?!!! Norway?!!!", dazzled Toka. "Yup… In its own light and dancing!", confidently replying I. "It's too cold out there, Heba!!!", dreaded Nada. "But, it's worth it!", assured I. "I love winter clothes!!!", loudly stating Menna."You look amazing in them!", encouraged I. "What about my PhD?", anxiously thinking Sarah. "Don't worry I talked with your supervisor and he agreed!", affirmed I. "How long?", curiously asking Noureen. "Seven days!"celebratively informed I."I love planes!!!", shared Salma. "And so do I", agreed I.

"We need to go shopping!", warned Mariam. "No kidding…", mocked I and then both of us laughed together. "Can we have coffee, again?", pleaded Menna. "Menna, honey that's your second cup so far and we haven't even made it to lunch!", scorned I. "Iced Coffee, Heba!!!", clarified Toka. "Seriously!", glared I. "What?!!! It's different…", easily stated Salma. "I don't know guys, how do you manage to survive through those stuff…", questioned Nada. "It ALL makes sense when you're preparing for your PhD!", stated Sarah. "Can I have a smoothie from McDonald's? I'm craving for it so badly, please…", pleaded Noureen. "Fine… Let's go! But, seriously guys after we're done with ALL of this we need to have a talk about your caffeine consumption because I ain't burying anyone here, in Paris!", growled I sarcastically. "Heba… You're the best!!!", declaring ALL at once with hugs and kisses by turns.

"Everyone ready?!!!", shouted I. "For what?!!!", asked Noureen obliviously. "Shopping!!!", yelled Toka excitedly. "Do I look good?", shyly showing Nada. "Daffodilicly, my dear!", empathized I. "Menna, are you done yet?!!!", yelled I so she would hear me upstairs. "Coming!!! Guys I have amazing news, my client (A VERY IMPORTANT ONE) has just sent me an email telling me how much she is fond of my logo design for her startup!!! I'm so happy that I wanna scream!!!!", Menna announced jumping up and down whilst me shouting out yuppp ees. I don't know if Menna realizes that or not, but she truly is an amazing woman and I'm so proud of her. She is working hard to show people what she is capable of and I'm going to support her on every step she takes for it. "Sarah, come on!!! We're running late!", warned I. "Okay… Okay!!! I was working on my PhD!", heading down anxiously. "Sarah, don't worry you're gonna kill it with Allah's will. But, in the meantime let's have some fun! Shall we?", comforted I celebratively. "Can I drive?", pleaded Salma. "No… Cause we're gonna ÜBER it!!! All the single ladies, hop in! Our ride is her!!!", announced I.

"Ladies… We're HERE!", announced I waking them up from their nap. "Wow!!! That's the biggest mall EVER!", gazed Toka. "I bet you it has ALL types of coffee shops", stated Mariam while half body through the window. "Winter… Here we come!", said Menna while stepping out of the car. "Does it have an arcade center?", bounced Nada. "I think it does… But, does it have a supermarket or something? Cause I'm craving some snacks right now…", contemplated Salma. "Does it have decent clothes is what concerns me?", cut off by Sarah followed by chuckling of the singles. "I'm aiming for puffy coats!", admired Noureen. "Let's pray that Allah would help us find what we need!", called I joined with OUR amens and shopping prayers.

"I pray you all have your sneakers on! Because THIS is gonna hurt!!!", warned I while looking at their shoes. "Oh! Allah have mercy on my soul…", prayed Mariam while staring at her flatties. "Mariam, fatties? Seriously?!!!", scolded Menna. "Guys… They are flatties and they're perfectly fit with the outfit!", stated Toka trying to make a point while knowing that Mariam would suffer for the whole journey. "Are we gonna do this OR not?", encouraged Noureen trying to cheer Mariam up. "Let's do this!!!", rushed Nada amongst us forwardly. "Come on!", followed Salma. "Wait for me!!!", called Sarah while pacing forward fastly and steadily to catch up. "Let's shop it!!! Don't worry Mariam, if it hurts we could pass by Payless Shoes OR Snickers and find you something that would run with your outfit…", empathized I. "I love you, Heba!", gladly stating Mariam. "Always, with Allah's will!", affirmed I.

"I don't know about you ladies, but I'm aiming for a gorgeous Wisteria dress!", sharing out with them whilst imagining how it would look on me. "For me, either a dress OR Bohemian outfit…", stated Mariam thinking out loud. "Dresses are cool, but I prefer them to be more practical…", added Nada gladly. "Trendy is my target!", joined Toka. "As furry as possible…", wished Noureen. "Wool… God they're so cissy and warm!", admired Menna. "Icy as it could get…", marked Salma. "Delicate as it could reach…", clarified Sarah. "Let's get that perfect outfit ladies!!!", cheered I.

"What's that sound?", exclaimed I. "An SOS from my stomach…", growled Toka. "I want FOOD!!!", drama queened Mariam. "Me too, can we have Pizza?", pleaded Nada. "Italian or better, Chinese!", craved Menna. "I ain't eating any Sushi, FYI!", declared Sarah. "Pizza more!", agreed Salma. "Pizza…", contemplated Noureen. "Oh my God, I didn't know you were THAT hungry! I won't lie to you ALL, I'm starving and parched…", admitted I. "Primos Pizza?", voted I. "Please…", ALL pro. "For me, I'm gonna have sprite!", stated I. "Let me guess, Sarah, Salma maybe and Nada with me and the rest would have Coca or Pepsi ?", guessed I. "Correct!", astonishingly clapping. "Now… The ONLY question remaining would be: Where, for the love of Allah, is the food court?!!!", wondered I and then ALL laughing together on how much I am proving that I suck at directions while making peace with it.

"The bags?!!!", shouted I while we were on our way outside the mall. "What bags?!!", astonished Menna. "The TRAVELLING BAGS!!!", said Mariam with her eyes wide open. "Oh MY GOD!!!", screamed Toka. "What NOW?!!!", hurried Nada. "We're gonna get those bags!", lead Salma. "Wait for me!!! I have short legs…", followed Noureen barely. "Run Ladies!!! RUN!!!!!", yelled Sarah. I couldn't help, but notice the way people looked at us. But, seriously who cares?!!! They're traveling bags! A sign for a successful pleasurable travel is THE TRAVELLING Bags! Not just ANY one, but THE ONE. Folks y'all, I'm talking about American Touristen! No ONE can beat it, those stuff are awesome. They slide so smoothly and the perfect material for an at ease elegant travelling experience. Now ALL we need to have are one hand bag and a medium sized bag for each. And with Allah's will of course, cross bodies. The most practical one, I don't know if they would bring one like me OR just get a backpack. I have to say the bigger your airplane by side bag, the more snacks you get to sneak in. Try it!

"I'm freaking out!!! What time is it?!!!", panicked I. "Eleven thirty, I guess…", guessed Mariam. "We're late!!!", Menna panicked too. "How are we supposed to find our ÜBER ride, now?!!!", Toka shared our panicking. Now the whole squad is gonna panic, I bet you on that. "I've Never been that late!", panicked Nada. "Neither have I!", panicked Sarah. "If my parents found out, they're gonna kill me. That's one thing for sure!", stated Salma with lost eyes. "Mom and Dad can't know about this…", schemed Menna while worrying about her parents. Did I ever tell y'all that Mariam and Menna are doublets? "Your ride will arrive in 2 minutes!!!", shouted I with my eyes wide open from happiness. Then we all started jumping from happiness while waving with our shopping bags and people watching us and running away. "We're gonna lap sit, if we want to fit in that car! But, who cares?!!! We're going HOME!!!", celebrated I while hugging them. They're The Squad…My REAL Ohana!!!

"Is this your stop, lady?", asked the ÜBER driver in an attempt to wake me up. "What?!!! Oh, let me see… Well, it seems like it's our home. Guys, what you think?", checked I. "Well, if it's as the location is stated it must be…", growled Mariam exhaustedly. "I can't see from the Wisteria trees!", detested Toka. "Well, I'm short so don't look at me like that…", shrugged Nada. "Well, I can see the door. Maybe if I stepped out of the car, I can recognize it…", suggested Salma. "I can go with her!", joined Sarah. "Oh my God I can't move. I just can't understand the possibility of someone sleeping after having caffeine twice. Science has to explain that nonsense or I'm gonna have to insult science in my illustrations!", objected Menna. "Ladies, I know you're tired but I really need to get back to my wife if you don't mind…", he kindly asked. "Well, ladies if it crashes it crashes, right?", encouraged I. "Let's us hope that Sarah and Salma actually still have their minds in their heads…", prayed Mariam. Amen, sis… Amen!

"You brushed your teeth, ladies. Haven't you?", checked I. "It depends…", said Mariam. "Well, I wore on my Pyjamas if it counts!", persuaded Menna. "Me, too… Don't you just looove Pyjamas!!!", mischieved Salma. "They're so fluffy!!!", adored Noureen. "And Cozy…", commented Nada while sinking in her PJs. "And cute, it has leg warmers, too!", admired Sarah. "Forget about that, I found MY size, ladies!", fested Toka. "Wohooo!!! Great pep talk, but don't change the subject! Dental health first…", advice I. "Encourage us!", demanded Sarah. "Shame on you, Doc. Thought you should know better!", guilted I. "Hello, she is not a dentist, remember? She is preparing her PhD so she could be ready to work as a resident doctor, at Paris.", reminded Mariam. "Ooookaaayyy, misses BOSS! How about a story, then?", mind manipulated I. "Interesting… Well, let's go ladies!!! You heard what she said!", rushed Toka everyone else to the bathroom while fighting their way in first.

"Got Ya!!!", yelled I while laughing out. It brought me to tears honestly, you should have seen the look in their eyes. "Oh… Come on!!!", shouted Mariam. "But I washed my teeth…", regretted Salma. "You're the MOST mischievous and manipulative person I've ever seen so far!!!", accused Toka furiously. "You're short, but carry lots of tricks inside!", admitted Menna. "Heba… I could have slept by now!!!", reminisced Sarah. "Lady, you're evil!!!", poked Nada. I'm still laughing, thanks to Allah that I went to the bathroom earlier. "I'm gonna kill you, Heba!", threatened Noureen while attacking me with a pillow. It wasn't that long until a pillow fight was announced. "Oh…It's ON!!!", declared I while arming myself with the MOST painful pillows I could ever put my hands on.

"I surrender… PLEASE!!!", pleaded I after being totally covered with pillows. I lost. "Should we stop, ladies?", consulted Mariam. "Okaaay…", agreed the rest. "Good night!", Nada wished. "You too, Nada", Menna rewished. "Heba, talk to us till we fall asleep…", asked Toka. "Yaaah, Heba…It's so comforting!", agreed Sarah. "Like, Nobody caught your attention?!!", wondered Noureen. "For the love of Allah, how is that even possible? You're an INFJ! How did men become so blind?!!!", mocked Noureen. "So far, none… Disappointed, but not surprised! May be the ONLY ONE who would catch my attention is an INTP…", vented I. "Why? You have a wide range of options!", replied Mariam shockingly. "I don't know… They just have this thingy. It's when they apologize, no one does like them! They give this apology that you probably never had the chance to have on your early days… Plus, other stuff which I can't talk about right now!", paused I. "More!!!", demanded Nada. "I can't, my battery is empty…", refused I. "She is right, we need to sleep…", backed up Mariam. "Well, how do you know?", resisted Toka. "I'm an INFJ, I just know… I have no why's, I just feel it!", shrugged I. "It's beautiful… To be so, you know!", admired Salma. "Indeed it's, but everything has a price my friend!", pointed out I. "It's sad… Good night, Hobeez!", wished Menna. "Good night, sweetie!", rewished I. I love that nickname, Menna was the one who actually came up with it.
